Phone Screener

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides crisis counseling via phone to clients in a mental health crisis.   Assess clients for appropriate level of care, provide crisis intervention. Provide crisis stabilization or deflection services to residential EBHC clients when hospitalization is not required. Maintain ongoing case records for all clients serviced, statistical and narrative. Ensure that all individuals receive an appropriate referral to services that will address their needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree (M.A.) in psychology, sociology or social work from a four-year college or university and two to four years related experience.  LCPC or LCSW preferred, but not required.
