Duties and Responsibilities:
The right candidate will Manages and directs Child and Adolescent Crisis Services. Maintains Screening Assessment and Supportive Services (SASS) program plan expectations and provides direct clinical services to severally emotionally disturbed children and adolescents at risk of psychiatric hospitalization. You will ensure a screening process begins within thirty (30) minutes of a referral to determine eligibility for a service needs evaluation. Ensure a face-to-face screening is conducted with client within ninety (90) minutes of initial contact. Directly supervises employees in the Child and Adolescent Crisis Services and Therapeutic Stabilization Programs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; managing the registry; provide clinical supervision to all direct service employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree (M.A./M.S.) from a four-year college or university and a minimum of two years supervised experience in mental health or human services working with severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. Administrative and supervisory experience preferred. Must have proficient typing and computer skills. Clinical License is required, i.e. LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT.
