Duties and Responsibilities:
The right candidate will be a part of an interdisciplinary team that provides services availability 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week targeted to individuals who have serious and persistent mental illness or co-occurring disorders, multiple diagnoses, and the most complex and expensive treatment needs. The ACT Nurse will complete assessments on each client, arranges for follow-up for any medical problems identified and administers and monitors client medication as prescribed by a physician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S)/Registered Nurse (R.N) from four-year college or university and 2-5 years related experience. The ACT Nurse shall have a specialty or documented competency in psychiatry as well as be in compliance with current, applicable scope of practice and supervisory requirements identified from appropriate licensing, certifying or registering bodies. Must have proficient typing and computer skills.
