590 Engagement Peer Specialist, CRSS

Duties and Responsibilities:

Asthe 590 Engagement Peer Specialist, CRSS, will utilize skills and expertise to: establish rapport, share experience, and engagement with individuals in communities served, as well as connect individual with services.  Provide a unique non-clinical service through the installation of hope through positive self-disclosure. Increase engagement while reducing stress by relating without judgment, communicating hopefulness first-hand and modeling the fact that improvement and success are possible.  

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.  Must be able to work independently with self-motivation, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities of the work place.  Must have lived recovery experience and maintain or pursue formal certification as a Certified Recovery Support Specialist. Must be dependable and punctual.  Must have proficient typing and computer skills.  Must have a Good driving record.
